A high wooden palisade encircles Eientei with a single gate allowing entry. Overall the manor looks somewhat basic, but is sturdy and comfortable.

[21:26] *** The Bamboo Forest of the Lost isn't just a descriptive name. It's actually a place that seems to actively attempt to live up to its name. The bamboo trees are tall and strong, but they also reduce visibility to a dozen or so meters at best and obscure the sky. The mist that wafts and flows among the trees like a slow-moving river obscures your vision that much more. A deep darkness has crept into the forest now that the sun has long set, and the sounds of nighttime wildlife seems to be coming from all directions simultaneously.

[21:27] *** The grass on the ground is thick, but there’s minimal underbrush. You could move quickly through the Bamboo Forest if you wanted to, but it’s never advised. Everything about this place seems to be tailored to make you to lose your sense of direction.

[21:28] * Lt. David O`Cain activates the UV/IR combination on his visor to see in the darkness

[21:28] *** The air smells wonderfully fresh and full of the scents of green grass, rich soil, and all the scents of a forest that had never suffered the taint of industrialization.

[21:30] *** In fact all of Gensokyo seems to radiate the feeling that it's a place completely different from the outside world. That which does not exist in the outside world CAN exist here. Not only in a physical sense but metaphysically as well. This is a place of vast possibilities and for some, second chances.
[21:31] *** The trees block line of sight for you David. IR vision doesn't turn up very much. There are a lot of animals scampering back and forth, but none larger than squirrels.

[21:50] *** The garden is somewhat enclosed and not particularly well lit. It would make for a fairly good place to enter and leave Eientei without being detected if one was careful.
[21:52] *** One of the sliding doors on a nearby desk has been opened, and there's a small shed sitting at the edge of a small vegetable field.

Upon closer examination you sense a very strong auro of magic coming from the rabbit pile. The rabbits themselves are youkai in animal form and they all seem alive and unhurt, but they're not the source of the magic.

There are tools laying around the rock, but this is the only sign of habitation. It's completely untamed, and the gentle wind is drowned out by the roar of the waterfalls suffuses everything.

[00:54] <Young Lich> I created this place to see if I could do it. I have studied and studied and studied. On my own, in the library, and under Raihosha, and I wondered if I could finally use the spell to create my own Demiplane.

[00:56] <Young Lich> Eitak, Raihosha, and eventually Matsumi... sometimes even you retreat to a world of their own. The Time Lords here love to do it. I guess I'm just an envious man.

[00:57] <Young Lich> Yes. And from those that might destroy me. Don't bother going fishing in the streams. There is no life here, except you.

[00:58] <Young Lich> There is supposedly ways to make life, but I would have to bring it if I wanted some, and I don't care for life. Too transient most of the time. In fact, I'm not even strong enough to hold the demiplane together. The spell is just... flawed.
[00:58] <Young Lich> In order to make it stick, I would have to know a spell called "Permanency," which alters other magic by erasing its time constraints.
[00:59] <Young Lich> In just a few hours, this place will not exist anymore. I wanted you to see it before it was gone.
[00:59] <Souldier> That's thoughtful of you. Water is something I've always enjoyed

[01:00] * Young Lich chuckles, and hurls a rock down into the roaring water.

[01:02] *** The snowing picks up, and swirls in the canyons below, coating the towers of rock in the distance with a thin crust of white.
[01:03] <Souldier> I wonder if this is scripted. Or just it being
[01:04] <Young Lich> I'm glad you like it. It shall be gone soon. You are the only one who will ever know.
[01:05] <Young Lich> I won't try to answer your question. The spell has limitations. Even if I were able to expend a huge amount of will and resources to set up some kind of rhythm here, I'm sure it would have already stopped now because the place is breaking up now that the magic that conjured it is failing.
[01:05] *** A massive column of rock plunges down into the canyon with a roar.

[01:06] * Young Lich is picking up all of the tools used to carve the rock, and is rolling up the pallet.
[01:08] <Young Lich> I suspect that if you took a bit of rock as souvenir, it would be gone when the demiplane falters and dies, so it would be a waste of time. You could leave something here, or carve your name into the rock, if you want. I certainly won't stop you.

[01:12] <Young Lich> Heh. Funny thing. If you left a fingernail clipping or bit of hair here, it would be the only thing here that has ever been alive. What a thought.

[01:15] * Young Lich puts his bony hand against the rock next to the mark guyver made, and the rock around his hand liquifies and drips, forming a handprint.
[01:18] *** There is a loud rumble. Lightning strikes some of the rock spires, and a big portion of a cliff nearby falls into the water, or turns to mist. The water turns to steam, too.

[01:19] <Young Lich> I was touched by your cares, and figured you might want to see this before it was gone. It won't stay despite my protestations, but it's enjoyable while it lasts, and I figured it could bring you happiness while it's around.

[01:19] <Young Lich> .....It's precious, but finite. Which makes it a lot like your lifespan, Guyver. Get the point?
