[22:27] *** the tall buildings are masking the smoke signature. This will not work to find the flames---either that is the problem, or the fire has been put out and the smoke column is gone.

[22:28] *** The building is closed, unfortunately. Trying to walk across town on foot seems to be a dead end.

[22:48] * VR Peripherals completely cover up D. Kakaku's eyes and ears. He can no longer hear anything or see anything except what the VR set shows him once it snaps securely into place.

[22:49] * VR Peripherals overlays a map of the local area on D. Kakaku's vision, with a certain spot glowing purple.

[22:50] * VR Peripherals show the way to get to a certain building, with the directions starting from outside the HOTEL's address in the road.
[22:50] * D. Kakaku looks and begins exiting the hotel again
[22:52] * VR Peripherals show him how to get out of the HOTEL, but as soon as he leaves, the streets are overlayed with weird images. There are no road signs, the buildings look funny, and there is a slowly droning murmer in his ears from the VR's headphone set. A path along the ground is clearly marked, however.
[22:52] * D. Kakaku follows the path that is on the ground
[22:53] *** The path looks rather confusing, and leads past locations and strange objects (strange statues, old stone archways) that D. Kakaku definitely doesn't remember seeing. The path seems to criss-cross a lot and is very confusing, but the visor shows exactly the way to go. Does D. Kakaku keep following?

[22:56] *** the murmer and noises (some sudden, some quiet but insistant) continue. The shape of the moon moves rapidly across the sky. Lights illuminating the street blink on and off, and there are no animals, people, or even cars. The path keeps criss-crossing. Does D. Kakaku attempt to follow it quickly and u nquestioningly, or slow down, try to piece together where he is, and memorize the path he is taking?
[22:56] * D. Kakaku continues following it quickly
[22:57] * VR Peripherals show D. Kakaku happy images like birds and kittens along the road, and signs that show encouragement. The buildings look cheerful and happy, and the murmering is replaced by pretty music.
[22:57] *** The tracing program placed on D. Kakaku starts transmitting.
[22:58] * D. Kakaku keeps on going, despite the wierd visuals
[22:58] * VR Peripherals lead D. Kakaku to a large building, with a flashing neon sign above it, and cars going around it slowly. It says, "Nagato Specialty Restaurant"
[22:59] * D. Kakaku looks up at the sign
[22:59] <VR Peripherals> The sign seems to say "Nagato Specialty Restaurant: Give your Sense of Taste and Unforgettable Experience by Leaving Other Senses Behind!"
[23:00] * D. Kakaku looks at the building itself
[23:00] *** D. Kakaku can see that there are several notices in the window, and also that there are a line of well-dressed people lined up. A lot of them are actually blindfolded. Some have their ears covered, and some are even in wheelchairs, being pushed around by those able to hear/see/move.
[23:01] * D. Kakaku looks to see how long the line is
[23:01] *** The building exterior looks posh, and has lots of pictures of food, and blindfolded people eating and being served by people wearing night vision goggles, or listening to musicians play.
[23:01] * VR Peripherals show D. Kakaku that his reservation is next!
[23:02] * D. Kakaku blinks and wonders what he should have on his head
[23:02] *** D. Kakaku cannot hear anything. The wait staff don't speak, they just gently take a group of patrons (who are holding up signs showing who they are) by the arm, and lead them inside. Nobody speaks.
[23:02] * D. Kakaku allows them to take him.
[23:03] * VR Peripherals show D. Kakaku where to stand, and, after nobody else is in line, a gentle pair of hands take him by the wrist, and lead him forward.
[23:04] * D. Kakaku lts them lead him
[23:04] * VR Peripherals show him several rooms full of people eating, some with musicians playing where they can hear, but not see. Other rooms behind closed doors have aromatherapy candles.
[23:04] *** D. Kakaku is led to a table, and his hands are placed on a chair. He can clearly see that there is lots of delicious-looking food on the table.
[23:05] <D. Kakaku> oh boy~!
[23:06] *** There are other people in the room who turn toward the sound of his voice as he speaks. A person in front of him wearing a pair of night-vision goggles gestures for him to be quiet, and sit.
[23:06] * D. Kakaku sits down
[23:07] * VR Peripherals show a musician with a violin come into the room, and he begins to play. The food smells amazing---he might not be able to see or hear, but his nose can tell him that it smells delicious!
[23:07] * VR Peripherals show D. Kakaku the location of the silverware and drink.
[23:08] * D. Kakaku takes a sip
[23:08] *** It tastes AMAZING!
[23:09] * D. Kakaku nods and then digs into the food slowly
[23:10] *** All of the food tastes incredible. The other people in the room seem just as pleased, judging by their body language, but they do not speak. It seems like they are actively trying to be quiet.
[23:10] * D. Kakaku indicates that he likes it all
[23:11] *** every last bite taste amazing. Several more musicians come in and play--with D. Kakaku hearing music clearly from tyheir direction, befor he is finished.

He sees strange paintings on every building, the moon spiralling rapidly through the sky, clouds darting back and forth in different directions, some streams of water from sprinklers flowing downhill, but others flowing up-hill, and sometimes hears yowling cats, squishing sounds when he walks (like he's stepping on fruit) and other strange sensations as he travels.

[23:15] * VR Peripherals continue to take him on a loooong walk around the---somewhere, the terrain is unidentifiable or foggy or swirly, and D. Kakaku starts to feel a little tired and sleepy, as though he might have eaten too much.
[23:15] *** The tracking program keeps working.
[23:15] * VR Peripherals eventually, after a labyrinthine journey home, take him back to what he recognizes as the sidewalk directly in front of the HOTEL.

[23:16] * VR Peripherals clearly show him the HOTEL Atrium and interior.

[07:14] <Springfield> Apologies for the delays. This weekend was insane. Not only did we get caught up in "Explosion Night" as little Natalia loves to call it.
[07:15] <Springfield> We were forced to re-enact the Revolutionary War against Royal Navy. More on that at the end.
[07:16] <Springfield> But anyway, let's begin!
[07:16] <Springfield> This is yet another herbal recipe for you all.
[07:17] <Springfield> The overall level of preparation required is simple.
[07:18] <Springfield> Time involved, at least half an hour.
[07:18] <Springfield> The recipe is for Dilled Potatoes!
[07:19] <Springfield> You've likely heard of dill pickles before. Now it's time for potatoes to receive the same treatment! :D
[07:19] <Springfield> Ingredients needed...!
[07:20] <Springfield> ♦ 6 to 8 fresh potatoes. You're going to boil them, so select a type that can be boiled easily.
[07:21] <Springfield> ♦ 1 teaspoon of salt.
[07:21] <Springfield> ♦ 6 sprigs of fresh dill.
[07:21] <Springfield> ♦ 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine.
[07:21] <Springfield> ♦ 3 tablespoons of fresh chopped dill.
[07:22] <Springfield> Take your potatoes and wash them. Then cut them all in half.
[07:22] <Springfield> Place them all in a medium saucepan and cover with water.
[07:23] <Springfield> Add in the salt and dill sprigs, then put the saucepan on the heat.
[07:23] <Springfield> Bring the whole mixture to a boil and let simmer for 20 minutes.
[07:24] <Springfield> After it's all done simmering, drain off the water and discard the dill sprigs.
[07:25] <Springfield> Mix in the butter and chopped dill and pour it over the potatoes. Mix it all in well until everything's nicely coated.
[07:25] <Springfield> And DONE! Ready to serve.
[07:26] <Springfield> Dilled potatoes! And you now know how to make it for yourselves at home!

[07:27] <Springfield> ♦ 1 Tablespoon of butter.
[07:28] <Springfield> ♦ 2 medium tart apples. Peeled, cored, and diced.

[07:28] <Springfield> ♦ 1 small onion, finely diced.
[07:28] <Springfield> ♦ 1/4 teaspoon of dried thyme.
[07:29] <Springfield> ♦ 4 eggs, beaten.

[21:45] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> I do know a fair bit about the Hounds of the Tindalos.
[21:47] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> They're creatures native to a place that exists outside of Space-Time called Tindalos. The Hounds act something like guardians and/or predators.

[21:47] <Forest Kit> Do they make Tindaloo? :O
[21:48] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> They exist inside the "angles" of time, while most other creatures exist in the "curves" of time. People who use spells or artifacts to view far into the future are at risk of being seen by the Hounds.

[21:49] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> If they're detected, the Hounds will start travelling through time to track down the viewer and hunt them down.
[21:50] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> Actually, futurre...past. The Hounds are capable of seeing anywhere or anyWHEN into the Timeline and identifying prey.
[21:50] <Matsumi Kaze> it screamed really weird too...
[21:52] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> When they reach their prey's time-line, they materialize through the closest corner of them. Meaning they enter through sharp angles of 120 degrees or less.

[21:53] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> Honestly, no one knows just how many of them exist.
[21:55] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> But they're extremely dangerous. They're not only difficult to injure due to their extra-spatial nature, they're extremely intelligent.

[21:56] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> They don't actually LOOK like dogs, but in the minds of the people viewing them, they're conceptualized as predatory canines because they're instinctively recognized as such.
[21:58] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> Tactical strengths - they have four-dimensional senses, able to sense everything around them in a 360 sphere. That includes behind walls and in concealment. They also frequently know magic. Expect spells to be cast.
[22:00] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> Their bodies are also coated with a highly toxic slime/ichor. If it gets on you, it's going to cause problems. The stench of it is also bad enough to make most creatures extremely ill.
[22:00] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> Tactical WEAKNESSES - They can't see into magically protected areas, or behind round or spherical objects.
[22:01] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> They're also vulnerable to enchanted weapons and combat magic. Their minds are powerful, but they have no special resistances to magic.
[22:03] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> They regenerate from injuries quickly, but if you can fight them with magic you might just be able to overcome that regeneration. Once they go down, they stay down.
[22:04] <Alldrogis Valkyvida> The problem is they're smart. If they feel they might lose, they might just flee and come back again later.

[22:19] * Alldrogis Valkyvida rushes over to deliver one HELL of a roundhound punch upside that Hound's head!
