[09:44] <Euri Hakinochi> All year the worker elves make toys for all the good little boys and girls.

[09:45] <Euri Hakinochi> Come Christmas, if a child has been good all year, Santa Claus will come on his sleigh pulled by his magical flying reindeer, slip into a child's home, and leave them gifts!

[09:49] <Euri Hakinochi> I have distant relatives who believe that Baby Jesus, the baby version of the Christian religious figure, leaves presents for children, and not Santa Claus.
[09:49] <Euri Hakinochi> And here in Japan, people go to KFC.
[09:50] <Euri Hakinochi> Christmas is more of a...lovers holiday, here in Japan. Christianity is the 3rd most predominant religion here, you so. But the holiday has become very commercialized, so the religious aspect is lost.

[09:51] <Euri Hakinochi> It stands for Kentucky Fried Chicken. It's a Western-styled fast food place that sells chicken. Their mascot is an old white man and they dress up their statues of him in Santa Claus outfits for Christmas. It's pretty funny looking.
