[20:12] <Solarchos> I can tell you a little bit about them, and tell you some of the comparisons based on what I've learned about Eirin's people over the years and yours.

[20:14] <Solarchos> Lunarians are apparently a very magic-heavy society who are kind of conceited and arrogant. The founders of the Lunarian Kingdom were apparently mostly high-minded a[BLEEP]les.

[20:17] <Solarchos> The Lunarian Kingdom also seems to look down on Earthborn Humans as uncivilized barbarians and primitives, but during the War of 1969 they got a very unpleasant surprise from Human technology. The Lunarians were actually losing the initial phases of that war, but ultimately it ended in the Lunarian's favor.

[20:20] <Solarchos> Eirin is considered one of the MOST powerful Lunarians, and she's often mentioned as one of the people who helped establish the Lunarian Kingdom in the first place. Which means she's older than the Kingdom itself.

[20:21] <David O`Cain> How long ago was the formation of the Lunarian Kingdom?
[20:22] <Solarchos> If memory serves me right, it's almost 2000 years old.
[20:24] <Solarchos> Eirin uses some kind of "herbal remedy" of her own making to maintain her youth. However, she's never used the Hourai Elixir on herself.
[20:26] <David O`Cain> Hm. The Moon Kingdom was around well before the Lunarian Kingdom.
[20:27] <Solarchos> Yeah, but it certainly didn't suffer the same end.
[20:27] <David O`Cain> Anyway, continue.
[20:28] * David O`Cain has been taking notes on a separate vid-window since the conversation began
[20:29] <Solarchos> Based on what Reisen's said in the past, which isn't all that much, I got the impression that the Lunarian Kingdom is very different from the Selenite Realm. Reisen gets tense whenever the subject of her past, like she really doesn't have too many happy memories of her time in the Lunarian Kingdom.
[20:31] <David O`Cain> I see. So getting info out of her would be like pulling teeth.
[20:34] <Solarchos> No, not really. In fact what she doesn't say can tell you a lot.
[20:36] <Solarchos> She made it sound like the Lunarian Kingdom is pretty conformist and stifling. There's definitely a pretty rigid hierarchy with Reisen's people on the bottom and Eirin's and Kaguya's people on top. Plus there were rumors that the Lunar-Rabbits have been chafing under all of the controls and pressure lately.
[20:36] <Solarchos> So it sounds like Lunarians are kind of elitist compared to Selenites.
[20:38] <David O`Cain> Huh, okay.
[20:40] <Solarchos> However, they definitely have a huge aptitude with magic. I'd say their skill with magic surpasses your kind in general, David.
[20:42] <David O`Cain> We'll have to see, won't we. I know I'm pretty powerful in my own right. Perhaps moreso in Gensokyo's environment.
[20:43] <Solarchos> But I don't know exactly how many Lunarians live in their Kingdom. Reisen's never said and neither has Eirin.
[20:43] <Solarchos> David, how many Selenites are living currently?
[20:44] <David O`Cain> You mean those who survived like me, or those reborn?
[20:44] <Solarchos> Both.

[20:47] <David O`Cain> In total, I'd say at least 70K that were reborn or had survived. That includes yours truly and my cousins.
[20:48] <David O`Cain> Granted, the Moon Kingdom did span the entire system.
[20:50] <Solarchos> I really don't know if there are that many Lunarians, truthfully. The founders of the Kingdom I think originally numbered only a few hundred at most.
[20:50] <David O`Cain> So, we may need to include Jovians, Venusians, etc. in that number. Still, it's at least that number.
[20:52] <Solarchos> I think there are many more Moon-Rabbits than that, but Reisen's people all seem to be physically diminuative overall.
