The residual engergy is also transdered to us and builds up Runic power, which we can expend at any time for diffrent ablties, like Death Coil -

[14:46] * Armin goes over to look at the pile of stuff Thrash is working on

[14:48] * Armin finds the pile uninteresting, adn inspects Meladina up close instead.
[14:48] * Meladina stands still, gazing down at the dog
[14:49] <Meladina> Very well then...why, pray tell, did you ALLOW your companion to bring a dog?

[14:53] * Meladina continues half-ignoring the dog and inspects Thrash's device
[14:53] * Armin has now been washed and cleaned, although is still quite thin
[14:55] * Thrash glances at armin...then sighs a bit

[14:55] * Thrash walks into this TARDIS
[14:57] * Armin sits between Meladina and Trash's work

[15:01] * The Magistra looks at Armin.

[15:03] * Armin seems happy to be pet

[15:07] <Meladina> The dog is not his companion
[15:07] <Meladina> His companion decided to bring a dog along
[15:09] <The Magistra> Same thing really.
[15:09] * Thrash walks back out with a bowl filled with dog food
[15:09] <Thrash> there we go..you would not belive how hard it is to find a proper dog dish
[15:09] <The Magistra> ...You know you can just use a bowl right? My maternal grandmother would just use a kitchen bowl for her one dog on ocassions.
[15:10] <Tamili> Well it is when you don't have any! I used a big bowl in here...
[15:10] * Thrash puts the bowl on the floor
[15:11] * Armin gets to work on eating
[15:12] <Thrash> now where was I
[15:12] * Thrash sits back down and keeps working on the machine
[15:12] * Tamili steps out for a few minutes
[15:12] <Tamili> At least he's not sick, so he should be back up to his usual weight in a few weeks.
[15:14] <Tamili> He seems rather affectionate so far.
[15:15] <The Magistra> He's a good boy. He ate some jerky right out my hand and didn't even nip my fingers
[15:15] <Thrash> Mel...do you have a spare gravity warp compensator?
[15:16] <Meladina> Must you ask?
[15:16] * The Magistra always carries jerky on her incase of an emergency.
[15:16] * Meladina turns about and returns to her TARDIS to fetch the desired component
[15:18] <Thrash> always difficult making sure these lash ups work properly
[15:20] * Meladina returns and hands Thrash the compensator
[15:20] <Tamili> I can't believe someone would just abandon him...
[15:20] * Thrash takes it and looks it over
[15:20] <Thrash> problem with gravity compesntators...they can be very delicate to work with
[15:20] * Thrash rips out a couple of wiring and pieces from the device
[15:20] <Thrash> forentatly I am not
[15:23] * Thrash ties the remaining wires into the device, setting it against the machine
[15:25] * Tamili gives Armin a few more pets and goes back into the TARDIS
[15:25] * Tamili is away 
[15:26] * Armin follows her inside

[15:27] <Thrash> ...I stll need a proper field integreator and a moleculer harmonic reverber
[15:29] * Meladina hands both to Thrash, as if having expected him to require them

[15:30] * Thrash starts to work on the field integrator
