[11:04] * Dyslaylea looks as though she's considering the suggestion and then nods.

[11:04] <A.Savior> I haven't had anything since lunch and that was just a granola bar and an apple.
[11:07] * Eliza McIntash runs over and grabs a table for everybody! She enthusiastically waves down a server to get drinks for her new friends.

[11:08] * Eliza McIntash pulls the chairs out for everybody else, and then sits down. :)
[11:08] * Eliza McIntash orders breakfast, and makes sure the waffles come with chocolate chips.

[11:09] * A.Savior sits and looks over the menu hungrily.

[11:10] * Dyslaylea takes her time looking over the menu after she sits down.
[11:10] * Cora takes her suitcase, gets a few oranges from the bar, and heads up in the elevator

[11:11] * Server 2 , meanwhile, is chatting with one of the cooks

[11:12] <Server> There is no need to pay for your meals; this restaurant is privately funded and open to all.

[11:12] * Dyslaylea perks up, looking interested. She raises an eyebrow in question.

[11:14] <Server> Today's specials include a shark steak taco platter, and wagyu-truffle burger with a side of your choice.
[11:15] * Dyslaylea gestures to the server to get their attention and points to the summer salad and the italian tea sandwich listed on the menu.

[11:42] <Eliza McIntash> You see, there was a point where a memory drug was used on a lot of people in Tokyo--and I realized that I remembered things differently as well.

[11:43] <Eliza McIntash> At first I thought I had been dosed with the drug by my friends, which made me so ANGRY... but as I looked back to try to verify what DID happen with my memory, I realized that my memories for YEARS did not match up. Almost all of them could not be verified. It was all fake.

[11:43] * Eliza McIntash has tears in here eyes, and drinks some of her orange juice to calm down.
[11:43] <Eliza McIntash> I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and asked lots of people for help to sort thigns out... right before I was going to commit myself or do... something more drastic, something happened to me....
[11:44] <Eliza McIntash> I got the starring role in a play, like I always wanted! ^_^

[11:45] <A.Savior> That's...that's pretty cool, I guess?
[11:45] <Eliza McIntash> Well, I have never told my employer this, but if I did not get that breakthrough then, and get cheered up and reinvigorated with purpose... I might have turned out very very different.
[11:46] <Eliza McIntash> So I have been very loyal, and we have gotten close. I realize, now that the past, whether real or not, is less important than the present.
[11:46] * Dyslaylea nods as she finishes her salad and moves on to her sandwiches.
[11:46] <A.Savior> You've gotta live in the moment and all that jazz, right?
[11:46] <Eliza McIntash> I do not really understand how I have these memories, or why... and I strongly dislike the person who would know.

[11:47] <Eliza McIntash> Yes, I live in the moment, but it's also not dwelling on what causes you pain.

[11:48] <Eliza McIntash> Anyway. Assuming I am able to replicate some abilities, I have wrested with the issue of what I should do with them.

[11:49] <Eliza McIntash> I am... I am scared of some of the things I could do, because of who ...gave birth to me. I consider my current job--to make people smile, and happy, and glad, and thus making the world better, very important.
[11:49] <Eliza McIntash> You don't have to wear a cape to make the world better. I feel this with all of my heart.
[11:50] <Eliza McIntash> I just get tired of feeling scared and concerned, and want to take action sometimes. I guess that's understandable, right?

[11:50] <Eliza McIntash> Er... metaphorically speaking, you did mention there was no money in it. <.<
